#Final rage xonotic map series#
The series is being used to further superstition about children being magically affected by everything they see. In a normal world this would be perfectly normal and in good fun (like many other things): In the dark fantasy we call reality, state sponsored media has been using the toy to claim that children are being possessed and losing their minds, becoming depressed going insane and chanting about murder. The twist here is that the toy of their main character Huggy Wuggy has been designed to look horrifying. as in physically sold in stores not just online with overseas shipping like custom mugs or T-shirts (some indie projects can afford that). Here's what actually happened: Just like Hasbro with MLP, the corporation behind Poppy Playtime has a line of toys being sold worldwide. I don't know if this was intended from the beginning or the game was later used by secret services, I'm leaning toward the first option but like many things we'll likely never know.

It's created by a multinational company with potential ties to government, part of an attempt to push new hysteria into society then use it to instate more control through fear.

Yet I was awfully wrong: This series is not truly an indie game. I became somewhat suspicious when I noticed how unusually popular it's getting, but shrugged it off as it just being a good game. I'm sure that just like me, you thought this was an indie horror game like thousands of others, created by a random person on the internet for fun and maybe money. Most of you probably heard of the game Poppy Playtime and either bought it or watched a playthrough. Today I found out about a shocking case I would have never imagined possible, involving a series I had no idea was connected to those things in any shape or form.

In spite of how hard I've prepared to spot and defend myself from the infiltration of moralism into every single domain on the planet, the enemy is faster and more perverse than even I had anticipated. The project goes fully public next month so don't worry, but for anyone who wishes to help this would be greatly appreciated, please consider chipping in and you can enjoy access to the game earlier. I may have future plans for this series depending on how it goes though I'm not thinking that far off yet.Īs a reminder the Beta is available on my Patreon and Subscribestar, you can find the link there and instantly play the game straight from your web browser! It only takes 1$ or more to get access. This is the first time I not only manage to finish a game, but could so with my own original graphics. The only urgent TODO entries on my list are finishing the dialogue and making backgrounds for levels depending on how that looks and the difficulty involved. I'd like to know what you think and suggest improving. Here's also a video of the first few levels of the game in its current state: I figured I'd also share a few screenshots of the beta for those who were curious to see what's been done so far: I recently announced the release of my latest peckish game, Escape from Nibbles.
